MDGC - Right Time?

Longs…I by chance talked to Val yesterday for a couple of hours and it was a good reassuring talk. He presented himself as conservatively confident and definitely sounded a bit burned out but excited. I came away feeling like things are going to happen and it was insinuated that there’s money. Val believes he has a working product now and all we need to do is just sell it. The rollout alone will go a long way to credibility IMO; it should blow peeps away if presented properly. We are in the right place at the right time if Val brings the magic. $$$$ MDGC $$$$

Thanks PhoneGuy for those reassuring words particularly coming from a person like you who has knowledge and experience in this field.

Phoneguy: I have never spoken to Val personally but have emailed back and forth with him many times over the past two years. Up to this point, his responses to my concerns have been mainly lip service. In the march towards getting the Boise network online by February 1—and all of the profitability and share price increase that is hyped to follow—I have several questions that I haven’t heard anyone on this forum ask, as of yet.

    1. Will MediaG3 be prepared to assure the industry standard 99.9999% up time? How will they back up this promise?

    2. In regards to the back office, will there an adequate support staff in place to respond in a timely way to customer needs and questions?

    3.
Will hardware, such as external antennas, be necessary? If so, will these be purchased or leased? Who will install them and support them?

    4. Anyone who desires to switch over to MediaG3 will likely have an email account with their existing company, e.g. jqpublic@cableone.net, or jsmoe@cox.net. Will MediaG3 be ready to supply an email domain along with an email server and software interface to replace the one that is given up when switching to MediaG3?

The bottom line is that everyone who makes the decision to switch to MediaG3 will have to drop some other ISP first. It’s a big decision to make and no responsible internet consumer is going to do it without feeling confident about the answers to the above questions. Reliability first. Speed second.

Will MediaG3 really be ready for prime time on Feb. 1?

CD insinuated that this week is going to be a good one. Whether this week or mid-january is fine with me. I am still looking to buy much more but need a couple of other stocks to run first. I don't like to have all my eggs in one basket but will with MDGC once we get closer to 2/1/12. I will need to take some profits off the table to get my original investment back but I expect going forward to still own a significant amount of MDGC for the inevitable (imo) buyout.
    regards longs, buddy

I have no doubt they will be up and running by Feb 1st. There was some talk about signing up 5 to 10 % of the households but even though the speeds should surpass all others, true reality is maybe 1 % and more only with continous and constant advertising.

The only thing that concerns me is that we are one month before the Feb 1st start date and we are still in speculation mode. Go MDGC!
