Default Jamie Dimon sparks the Rally on Wall Street

In my opinion, Jamie Dimon the CEO of JP Morgan bank had much more to do with today's Rally than did the FED Statement. CNBC interviewed Dimon and he said that everything was fine with the US Banks and that they are well capitalized. At that point the Dow took off.

After Dimon's comments I called my investment manager and went from 40% to 75% into Securities. From the looks of the Market it appears that many others did the same thing.
    Sincerely,

Can he do it again? Well, let's hope so. The Market is in melt-down mode again today and Jamie Dimon is set to be interviewed on CNBC in the 11:00 AM Eastern hour.

Today it isn't the USA Banks but the French banks that are causing the sell-off which is being exacerbated by the Rise of the Machines. Sounds like a movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger but these days it is just invesment speech for High-Frequency Trading.

In electronic financial markets, algorithmic trading or automated trading, also known as algo trading, black-box trading or robo trading, is the use of computer programs for entering trading orders with the computer algorithm deciding on aspects of the order such as the timing, price, or quantity of the order, or in many cases initiating the order without human intervention.
Algorithmic Trading is widely used by pension funds, mutual funds, and other buy side (investor driven) institutional traders, to divide large trades into several smaller trades in order to manage market impact, and risk.[1][2] Sell side traders, such as market makers and some hedge funds, provide liquidity to the market, generating and executing orders automatically.
A special class of algorithmic trading is "high-frequency trading" (HFT), in which computers make elaborate decisions to initiate orders based on information that is received electronically, before human traders are capable of processing the information they observe. This has resulted in a dramatic change of the market microstructure, particularly in the way liquidity is provided.[3]
Algorithmic trading may be used in any investment strategy, including market making, inter-market spreading, arbitrage, or pure speculation (including trend following). The investment decision and implementation may be augmented at any stage with algorithmic support or may operate completely automatically ("on auto-pilot").
A third of all EU and US stock trades in 2006 were driven by automatic programs, or algorithms, according to Boston-based financial services industry research and consulting firm Aite Group.[4] As of 2009, HFT firms account for 73% of all US equity trading volume.[5] Algorithmic trading - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anyway, Dimon speeks on CNBC Shortly so perhaps he still has that Midas Touch.
    Sincerely,

Any advice for 401k strategy? I sold all my stocks high then bought back in today. I also moved most of funds into S&P 500 and some in common assets (securities)

Just be careful. We may be in a Depression rather than just another Recession.

Just FYI but Yesterday I went back into the Market with my managed funds. I told them to put me in at 75% Equity/25% Cash. Also, I told them to put me Over-Weight in AAPL, GOOG, and QCOM.

Also, I have been watching AAPL today. It is making Higher Highs and Higher Lows on the Day. In my way as goes AAPL so goes the Market today. Could be that the Market ends up Green on the day. LOL...it's 2 PM Now...we will know within 2 hours or so.
