I am unable to login to my account ever so often. This is the third time (since I created my account) that I've had to send an e-mail to charlesd to request a password reset. Perhaps my account locks out due to inactivity since I do not post that often?

    Hi Twisted,

We just checked your account settings and there are not apparent reason why you cannot access your account. Have you tried to use the password reset function to reset the password? Did that ever work for you?

I have about 5 stocks I'm trying to track on the site (5 'Subscriptions'), and I'm wanting to get email notifications whenever anyone posts a new message on any of those 5 stocks. Thus far today, I noticed several new posts regarding MDGC and ANWM, but I don't get email notices announcing those new posts. What am I doing wrong in my setup? HELP!!! Thanks ...

Jujubee, Click Settings at the top of this webpage. Then, Click GENERAL SETTINGS in the left column of the window that appears. Then, look under "Messaging & Notification" in the center portion of the screen and then check "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" and see if it is set to: "Instantly, using email"

Yes, Charles, it's set to that. So I don't know what the deal is. I do know this .... when I look at the screen list of my "Subscriptions", there is the far right column, for Notifications. I check that box at the top, which checks them all below it ... but they don't "stay" checked. If/when I leave that screen, all check marks are gone.

Try this: Go to the Forum you want to subscribe to and click on it. Then, click on Forum Tools (Located just above the thread names). Then check: "Subscribe to this forum".

Also Charles .... here's what I have also tried. On my "Subscriptions" window, there's the far-right column, titled 'Notifications', as you know. I click that upper box, which puts an "x" in all the boxes below it. Then ... I go to the "Selected Threads" tab below that, and check "Instantly, using email", then click the "Go" button on the lower-right of that box ... and wait ... and then all the check marks that were in the Notifications boxes up top just disappear. Hmmmmm ....point being, I guess, is that it's not SAVING or keeping my 'Notification' marks in the boxes.

Nope ... I do that for all 5 stocks, and it says "Unsubscribe" to this forum for each of the 5 I'm subscribed to ... so ... it knows I'm subscribed, but ................. as I typed in Post #8 here, I think it's the "Notification" problem I described.
